These little hand screen-printed beauties were delivered to Doug's "home-from-home" in the gutter today.

OK so it's just the sleeves ... but the CDs are being pressed as we speak :-) Big thanks due to Doug for the design and arranging the screenprinting. Thanks Doug.

End of Summer 2010 Update

By Slackship on 09-Oct-10 14:56. Comments (0)

After a super busy summer playing loads of festivals it's quite a nice feeling to know we can relax and concentrate on writing new material! It's sad to think it'll be another year before we can think of playing in a field somewhere away from the city but it will be well worth it knowing we'll have plenty of new material to parade!

We had some great support slots this summer and it's hard to believe that we were less than a year old when we supported Toots and the Maytals [pics] and The Wailers amongst other Reggae legends!

Slackship supporting Toots & the Maytals at the ABC in Glasgow

We have a few gigs lined up for the near future, first up We shall be stage sharing with The Mighty Diamonds at Glasgow's ABC on 20th October! No Bad! Then we will be making our Highland Debut at Mad Hatters in Inverness on Saturday 13th November.

Watch this space for news of our upcoming EP.

The great news is that Analigital Records from San Fransisco are putting it out digitally! We will be self releasing a limited amount of hard copies that will feature some Slack tunes as well as several meaty remixes. All going well it could be in your stocking at Christmas. Failing that it could make a perfect present for Burns day. Or an alternative to an egg!
